Half-Giza Pyramids and Sphinx with one Hour Camel Ride all Included

Overview

Capture the archaic spirit of Ancient Egypt on a private half-day tour of the Giza Pyramids that includes a camel ride. While gazing at the Great Pyramid of Giza, one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World, you’ll listen to illuminating commentary from an Egyptologist guide. See, too, the Sphinx and Valley Temple before enjoying a 30-minute camel ride on the scorching sands of the desert. Receive undivided attention from your private guide throughout the tour

What to Expect

A qualified, private Egyptologis will provide rich context and tell many stories starting from the moment he meets you in your hotel to head for Giza in a private, modern a/c van (WiFi on board) and visit the following sights: The Great Pyramid (the only remaining wonder of the seven wonders of the ancient world as the other six have vanished, 2500 B.C.), as well as the pyramid of Chephren (son of Cheops) and the pyramid of Mycerinus (son of Chephren). Enjoy the view from the panorama area, then proceed to the Valley Temple then Great Sphinx of Giza, colossal limestone statue of a recumbent sphinx located in Giza, Egypt, that likely dates from the reign of King Khafre (c. 2575–c. 2465 BCE) and depicts his face. It is one of Egypt’s most famous landmarks and is arguably the best-known example of sphinx art.
